The whole trip at a glance
Stages as a chain on iPhone, a board on iPad, with timeline and drive times. For each stage, Etappa shows at most one open next task.
Share a booking, done
Send a PDF, email or booking page to Etappa – dates, address, price and deadlines are read on your device. Optionally, Apple’s on-device AI model helps with recognition (experimental, on supported devices). Check the recognised details before you accept them.
Forget nothing
Deposits, vignettes, tolls, IDs, nights without a place to stay: Etappa reminds you of deadlines and open items. Foreign currencies are converted using European Central Bank rates.

Entry, tolls, required equipment and traffic rules for 30 countries, with official links.

For the whole family, no ads
Share a trip or your whole home via iCloud, for example with your family. Roles: owner, editor, viewer. No tracking, no ads; your data lives on your device and in your iCloud account.
Eight languages
Etappa comes in German, English and six more languages. Dates, times, numbers and currencies follow your device’s region settings.

Try Etappa now
The beta is free. I’d love your feedback: what works, what doesn’t, what’s missing.
- Install TestFlight. Get Apple’s free “TestFlight” app from the App Store.
- Open the beta link. Tap “Join the beta” below, then “Accept” and “Install” in TestFlight.
- Send feedback with a screenshot. Take a screenshot in Etappa, tap “Share Beta Feedback” and add a short note about what you noticed.
Requires an iPhone or iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. This is a beta – don’t rely on the app alone for important travel details, and keep tickets and IDs as you normally would.

Trip folder
Collect your trip documents in the folder. For an ID, Etappa stores no number – only the type, expiry date and nationality.
Discover
Bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, beaches and walks around your stay, via Apple Maps.
Trip themes
Every trip gets a theme: coast, mountains, fjord or a landmark. Some move gently.
Your data
Etappa shows no ads and does not track you. There is no Etappa account and no server of its own for your trip data.
Your trip data is stored locally on your device and, if you turn on iCloud, in your own iCloud account. The developer does not read it.
Etappa does not replace an ID or a ticket. The app uses location data only if you turn on arrival reminders. Address search and travel time go to Apple Maps, without booking names.
